Javier Corrales and Mario Pecheny are professors of political science at Amherst College and the University of Buenos Aires, respectively. They are co-editors of The Politics of Sexuality in Latin America: A Reader in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2010).
